Farfalla Interiors and Events was born out of my love of both Interior Design and Event Planning and Management.
During my teenage years and early 20s, I found joy in constantly redesigning my personal spaces, embarking on new projects every few months. Not only was I dedicated to enhancing my own surroundings, but I also eagerly assisted my family and friends in transforming their homes. As my passion for interior design grew, I decided to take a leap and establish my own small Interior Design Consulting business. This venture provided me with the opportunity to channel my creativity and assist others in beautifying their living spaces. The experience gained from running my own business eventually led me to embark on a new journey in management consulting.
After gaining experience in project management, I transitioned into event management and was employed as the Functions Co-ordinator at Suncorp Stadium for Spotless. However, when I decided to take a break from work to start a family, I didn't let go of my passion. Instead, I began assisting friends, family, and the local community with their interior design and event planning needs. Additionally, I dedicated my time to improving my own home and working on various personal projects.
Over the past decade, I have dedicated a significant amount of my time to organising numerous diverse events. These events have ranged from birthday celebrations and weddings to insightful seminars, engaging trivia nights, and captivating cent auctions and a gala ball, as well as awards n nights and semi-formal. Additionally, I have contributed countless hours to planning and coordinating extensive fundraisers aimed at supporting various causes. My passion for event management has allowed me to acquire a wealth of experience in creating unforgettable experiences for attendees. Moreover, my knack for interior design has enabled me to transform event spaces into aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. With my extensive background in both areas, I am well-equipped to bring creativity, attention to detail, and seamless execution to any project or occasion. From selecting venues and coordinating logistics to managing budgets and ensuring smooth execution, I take pride in my ability to organise and deliver outstanding experiences for all attendees.
My other passion is for creating stunning interiors, whether it be for clients or for my own personal projects. Over the last decade, my husband and I have dedicated ourselves to property development, constantly striving to create beautiful spaces. We have recently concluded our journey in this field by selling our final properties in 2022. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to design and transform various interiors, leaving my mark of creativity and impeccable taste. From elegant and modern living rooms to cozy and inviting bedrooms, I have poured my heart and soul into each project. It brings me great joy to see how my designs can enhance the overall atmosphere and functionality of a space, making it truly remarkable.
In 2021, I had the ideal opportunity to update and enhance my skills and knowledge, and then to relaunch my business in 2023. I have always been deeply enthusiastic about working with individuals, assisting them in attaining a higher quality of life by fostering a genuine affection for their living spaces. Additionally, I find great joy in commemorating special occasions and creating unforgettable memories, allowing people to truly cherish the places where they unwind and have fun. This newfound motivation and determination to combine my passion and expertise with my business will undoubtedly contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of my clients.
